ALREADY REGISTERED?

Confirm your voter registration information:

  • Did you vote in the 2018 election? If not, it's possible your voter registration has been purged. You should check with the County Clerk (307-721-2541) to ensure your voter registration is active.
  • Is your party affiliation up-to-date? If you were previously registered as a Republican but want to vote in the Democratic primary, you will need to update your party affiliation with the County Clerk (307-721-2541).
  • Have you moved since the last election? Your physical address is your voting address, and it determines your precinct. If you have moved since the last election, be sure to update your address with the County Clerk (307-721-2541) so you receive the correct ballot.

Confirm your polling place:

  • Several polling places have moved or consolidates this year, so it's extra important to double check your polling place if you plan to vote in-person on Election Day!
  • See the list of polling places by precinct here.
  • See the map of polling places in the City of Laramie here.
  • See the map of polling place in the County here.
  • Need help identifying your precinct or your polling place? Contact the County Clerk at 307-721-2541.

Make your safe, smart voting plan

VOTE BY MAIL (RECOMMENDED SAFEST OPTION)

  • To request an absentee ballot, complete this Absentee Ballot Request Form. You can also request an absentee ballot in person at the County Clerk's Office (525 E. Grand Ave. Suite 202), by calling the County Clerk (307-721-2541), or by emailing elections@co.albany.wy.us (put "Absentee Ballot Request" in the subject line ).
  • If you are returning your ballot by mail, be sure to use the provided envelope, and allow plenty of time (we suggest at least 7 days). ALL ABSENTEE BALLOTS MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 7PM ON ELECTION DAY. Ballots arriving after the deadline will not be counted.
  • You can also return your absentee ballot in the signed envelope in person at the County Clerk's Office.
  • Learn more at the Albany County Clerk's Absentee Voting page here.

VOTE EARLY

  • Albany County has an Early Vote polling place in the Election Building on the east side of the Albany County Courthouse (525 E Grand Ave.).
  • The Early Voting polling place is open Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm from July 2 to August 17 for the Primary Election, and September 18 to November 2 for the General Election.
  • Note that this Early Voting polling place is NOT open on Election Day. If you vote on Election Day, you must vote at your designated polling place.

VOTE CURBSIDE

  • If you plan to vote on Election Day, but you are high risk and/or wish to limit your contact with others, you may consider voting curbside. Curbside voting affords voters the opportunity to vote in a private and independent fashion without getting out of their car. Two Election Judges of different party affiliation will assist you in signing in to your Polling Place, deliver your ballot, a clipboard, secrecy sleeve and any other voting aids available and requested, and feed your ballot into the M-100 Ballot Counter.
  • To arrange for this service, please contact the Albany County Clerk's Elections Office (307-721-2541 or elections@co.albany.wy.us) or alert the Election Judges at your poll when you arrive.
  • Learn more information at the Albany County Clerk's page here.

VOTE IN PERSON

  • Vote in person at your polling place. Be sure to double check your polling place in advance, as some polling places have consolidated or moved since the 2018 election.
