One of my earliest memories is of my parents attending Laramie County and Wyoming Democrat meetings and caucuses.
They were lifelong examples of active political engagement, and their dedication shaped my own path.
Over the years, I’ve carried that spirit forward—first as a volunteer 4-H club leader for the Mighty Eagles, and then more formally within the Wyoming Democratic Party. About ten years ago, I began volunteering to hold voter registration drives at the library and the community college. I jumped in wherever I could: staffing booths, supporting events, and saying yes to every opportunity to help.
I’ve campaigned for the Conservation District, and campaigned for the U.S. House of Representatives.
Today, I bring that same enthusiasm, along with a deep understanding of Wyoming politics, to my role with the Albany County Democrats, where I proudly serve as a Precinct Committeewoman for 45-1.
I’m excited to get to know all of you better, to deepen our connection to the community and getting Democrats elected.
I joined the resistance.

Erin has been a lifelong advocate for the environment and human rights. Recently, she is most concerned about preserving our democracy so that citizens may address society's problems. Erin was drawn to Laramie because of the skiing, the sunshine, the beauty, and the people, including her husband James.
She serves on the Laramie city council and is proud of the city's work to improve the quality of life for residents in a manner both financially and environmentally sustainable.
Eriin was educated as a zoologist and aquatic ecologist in Maryland and Georgia. Her postdoctoral work for the National Park Service landed her in Fort Collins, which led to a job in Laramie in 1991 to work as a research ecologist for the Forest Service. When the research lab closed in 2005, she realized her database skills could be applied to her many causes. In 2006, she dove head first into political organizing for the Albany County Democratic Party and volunteered for Get-Out-The-Vote and for numerous candidates. She has served as County Vice Chair and Chair. She also works as the Data Director for the state party.
