SNAP benefits, once known as “food stamps,” will be, at least, disrupted in November due to the federal government’s shutdown. Two federal judges have ordered the Trump administration to continue funding while it dodges the issue with a bogus argument that it can’t legally supply the funds. (When has legality ever concerned this administration?)
Meanwhile, about 29,000 Wyomingites face a food crisis.
Wyoming Democrats stand for feeding children through a current drive at the Wyoming Food Bank. Rep. Trey Sherwood has led the way, donating her October legislature paycheck, $750, to the drive. Thank you, Trey.
