ACT NOW: Protect Voting Rights Petition

 With a dozen voting restrictions lined up for the 2026 Wyoming Legislature, the League of Women Voters of Wyoming (LWVWY) urges residents to sign a petition to ask lawmakers to oppose unwarranted barriers to voting access.

The League opposes any law-making that fosters distrust in our elections, creates unwarranted barriers to registration, limits access to the ballot box, or undermines our constitutional right to vote.

We urge the Wyoming Legislature to oppose legislation that creates unwarranted barriers to hard-working, honest Wyomingites casting their votes.

The Wyoming League will present the petition to the Wyoming Legislature at the start of its 2026 budget session.

As winter settles across Albany County, many of our neighbors are facing difficult times. Job layoffs, rising costs, and economic uncertainty have left too many families struggling to afford even the basics. 

Together, we can make a difference. Starting with our regular ACDems monthly meeting we will be asking for donations of hats, gloves, hand warmers and socks to support local charities that serve those in need during these cold months. 

These simple items can bring warmth, comfort, and dignity to members of our community who need it most. We will be collecting these items over the next few winter months to donate to local charities.
