Goals of the Listening Session
- Gain an understanding of:
- Problems most deeply impacting Wyoming communities
- What future the people of Wyoming want
- Provide opportunities to answer questions

- Understand the future that Wyoming wants
- Thank you’s to state and county parties for their support in making these events happen
- Introduction to today’s agenda
Community Agreements 6:05 – 6:10
- Respectful interactions
- We can disagree without being disagreeable
- Assume good intentions
- Step up, step back
- If you are someone who doesn’t often share, we’re asking you to step up in sharing your thoughts at tables
- If you are someone who finds yourself dominating conversations, we ask that you limit your engagement to allow space for others
- Aim for constructive communication
- Focus on Wyoming issues impacting your life
Table Discussions 6:10 – 7:00
- The room will break into tables of 10 - 15 people where they will take turns sharing with their neighbors on these specific questions. Between each question, tables will share themes that came from each of them. Each discussion component should take 15 minutes with 10 minutes of table reports.
- Problems 6:10 – 6:35: What keeps you up at night? What are the biggest concerns that impact your daily life? What do you worry about when it comes to the future?
- Solutions 6:35 – 7:00: What should the future look like? Write news headlines that you would like to see in the next 5 years.
Questions 7:00 – 7:20 (20 minutes)
- Open the room for questions
- Invite folks to talk 1-1 while we clear out the room
