Carrie put roots down in Laramie in 2007 after growing up in Maryland and attending college in South Carolina. She has a BA in Sociology and a Masters in Political Science from the University of Wyoming, and works as a research analyst studying education policy. Carrie and her husband Sid have two kids. She loves running, hiking, and cooking.

Ali has been involved with the Albany County Dems since the turn of the millennium and has served as Secretary since April 2019. She is also a Precinct Committewoman for 13-2. In 2018, she served as the Social Media and Communications Director for the Hunter for Wyoming Campaign. By day, she is a video producer who specializes in short features and documentaries. Ali strives to create better communities through mentoring youth and volunteering with many organizations including Progressive Voter Alliance, Black Dog Animal Rescue, Be the Change Scholarship Committee, and Albany County Democrats.

You could start by attending Albany County Democrats' monthly meetings, serve on a committee, help to canvas for a candidate you support. Or, simply have discussions with neighbors and friends about current events. It seems like once I took the initiative to be more active, opportunities to become involved were more apparent to me.”
